Preacher Mike has served in the role of Lead Minister at Southside for over 28 years. He is a graduate of Johnson University of the class of '91 and also serves at the local high school as the football chaplain which he has done for 26 years. He's been married to his wife Eleanor for 52 years and together they have two sons, 1 granddaughter, and 1 grandson. His favorite candy is peanut M&M's and enjoys Amigo's Restaurant! We've all been blessed and influenced so much by Mike's ministry here at Southside and the longevity God has given him to continue to do so.

Cliff began his ministry at 15 years old, serving regionally in the Northeast, playing music and preaching for youth events, conferences, and festivals with his brother. He and his wife, Kristin, met in 2002 and have spent the last two decades ministering in a number of different settings, from coast to coast. Cliff has served in youth, young adults, creative arts, production, and preaching/pastoral ministry. When He's not leading worship, Cliff enjoys getting outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking or taking a motorcycle ride to nowhere in particular. Cliff, Kristin, and their kids Ava, Ellie and Levi, landed at Southside in October 2023. They are excited for what God intends to accomplish in, through, and around their lives in this season of ministry.

Travis and Dayla have served as youth directors here at Southside for over 15 years. One of the many joys they've experienced together in this role is seeing students take their next steps toward Jesus year after year. When not engaging in student ministry, Travis enjoys watching TN Football and kayaking with the family. Dayla enjoys reading books and being outdoors. They've been married for 24 years, have 3 children together and pretty much assume the student ministry kids as their own as well! Their investment and enthusiasm for the next generation are evident in the life of our church here at Southside.

Tim and Cassie have been serving in the role of Children's Ministry Directors here at Southside for the past 7 years, but have been serving our kids in different capacities for over 12 years. Their care, attention, and understanding of children's needs on a regular basis has been so invaluable to our church! They've been married 11 years, have two children together, and when they aren't out running their kids to different sporting events or activities they enjoy being homebodies! They enjoy Mexican food, any and all kinds of cookies, and Petros unsweet tea. We're so blessed having them minister with us at Southside!
